The German Minigolfsport Verband e. V. (DMV) is the umbrella organization for mini golf in Germany. It was founded on October 1st, 1966. The association has had its office since 2019 after moving to Troisdorf.

history

A first umbrella organization was founded on April 25, 1964 under the name Deutscher Bahnengolfsport Verband (DBV). However, internal conflicts soon led to the dissolution of the association. In 1966, new talks followed and the DMV was founded. In 1969 the association was incorporated into the German Sports Confederation (DSB), now the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB).

There have been national mini-golf coaches in Germany since 1983, the first national coach was today's President Gerhard Zimmermann. Michael Koziol is currently training the men and women area. The sports management in the youth sector is currently Marc Klemm, and Michael Bamberg, the senior national trainer, is in charge of the sporting fortunes of the senior citizens.
