Dick Bush (cameraman)

Richard Henry Bush (born December 2, 1931 in Devonport, Devon , England , † August 4, 1997 in West Devon , England) was a British cameraman .

Life

After graduating from high school, Richard Henry Bush served in the Royal Military Police . He then worked in various professions and made, among other things, advertising and industrial films in a shoe factory. That led to him getting a job with the BBC . After several documentaries and episodes of various television series, Bush made his debut in 1968 in the film drama Satan, directed by Tony Richardson , as a cameraman for a feature film. For his work on that of John Schlesinger directed film drama Yanks - Yesterday we were still strangers was he in 1980 with a nomination of the British Academy Film Awards as Best Cinematographer considered.
