Dick Parry
Richard 'Dick' Parry (born December 22, 1942 in Kentford , England ) is a British saxophonist .
He mostly worked as a session musician on various record productions in different bands. Parry became particularly famous for his saxophone solos for the band Pink Floyd , which he a. a. recorded in the tracks Money , Us and Them (on the record The Dark Side of the Moon ), Shine On You Crazy Diamond ( Wish You Were Here ) and Wearing the Inside Out ( The Division Bell ) . Parry also played at many concerts of the band in the years 1972 to 1994 and at the 2005 Live 8 - appearance by Pink Floyd and on the on-an-Island- Tour of David Gilmour of 2006.
