Diederich Logemann

Diederich Logemann , also Dietrich (born August 22, 1872 in Vohrde , † August 15, 1959 in Rathlosen ) was a German farmer and politician ( DNVP ).

Life

Diederich Logemann was born the son of a farmer. After graduating from primary school, he attended a private school and an agricultural school, completed training in his father's company and later became its administrator. In 1896 he took over the management of a full meier farm in Rathlosen. For his services to the rural settlement he was made a full member of the Royal Agricultural Society of Hanover in 1911. Logemann took part in the First World War as a soldier and was awarded the Iron Cross II. Class and the Cross of Merit for War Aid. In addition to his professional activity, he acted as chairman of the supervisory board of the cattle exploitation cooperative in Sulingen and as a member of the Chamber of Agriculture.

Logemann joined the DNVP and was a member of the Prussian Landtag from 1921 to 1924 and again from 1928 to 1933 . In 1924 he was elected as a member of the Reichstag , to which he was a member until 1928.

Diederich Logemann was married to Marie, b. Schröder. The connection resulted in four children.

The later Member of the Bundestag and Parliamentary State Secretary Fritz Logemann , FDP, was his nephew. The later Lower Saxony Minister for European Affairs and honorary chairman of the FDP Lower Saxony, Heinrich Juergens , was his grandson.
