Dietrich von Termonde (also Terremonde or Tenremonde ; † 1206 at Rousion ) was by marriage lord of Adelon in the Kingdom of Jerusalem , as well as constable of the Latin Empire of Constantinople .

He was a younger son of Walter II of Termonde, Lord of Termonde (Flemish: Dendermonde ) in Flanders.

Like Dietrich von Orgue and Aimerich von Lairon , he probably belonged to the crusaders who remained in the Holy Land after the Third Crusade . From 1193 he can be documented in the Kingdom of Jerusalem in the vicinity of the kings Heinrich I and Amalrich II . By 1198 at the latest he was married to Agnes von Adelon, the sister and heiress of Adam von Adelon . From her law he ruled after Adam's death the rule Adelon.

In 1204 he left the Holy Land and went with Hugo von Tiberias and his brother Rudolf with a contingent of troops to Constantinople , where his compatriot Baldwin of Flanders had just established a Latin Empire as part of the Fourth Crusade . Baldwin appointed Dietrich as his constable there. At that time the young empire was involved in violent battles in Thrace with the Bulgarian tsar Kaloyan as well as Cumans and Wallachians . According to Gottfried von Villehardouin's report , Dietrich fell in the spring of 1206 in the battle of Rousion (also Roussillon or Rusium) in Thrace in the fight against Cuman cavalry.

With Agnes, Dietrich had a son, Daniel , who succeeded him as master of Adelon, and a daughter, Margarethe.
