Dominic Pürcher (born June 24, 1988 in Schladming ) is an Austrian football player on the position of a defender .
Career
Pürcher began his active career as a football player at SV Rohrmoos / Untertal . In 1998 he moved to the youth team of FC Schladming . In 2002 he moved from Schladming to the academy of the Austrian Bundesliga club SK Sturm Graz . In 2006 he then moved from the youth league to the Middle Regional League to the SK Sturm amateur team. A year later he was included in the national league team of the traditional club. At that time he still switched between the amateurs and the Bundesliga club, but was never used in the Bundesliga. On August 5, 2008 it was announced that Pürcher and Coşkun Kayhan were brought by the amateurs of SK Rapid Wien to promoted to the second highest Austrian league, SV Grödig . In the weeks before there were some minor difficulties, because they did not want to let Pürcher go because his contract only expired in 2009 and because SK Sturm Graz still had too few players in the squad at that time. On August 8, 2008 Pürcher completed his first professional appearance in the first division in the game SV Grödig against DSV Leoben . He played 90 minutes; the game ended in a 2-2 draw. To date, he has played 25 games for the Salzburg club and scored one goal. On June 30, 2009, he extended his contract with SK Sturm Graz for another two years. At the same time he was awarded again to the first division, this time to the promoted TSV Hartberg . After the 2009/10 season, Pürcher was brought back to Graz, where he received a place in the professional squad. After he had been in the squad of the professional team since 2006 - with brief exceptions - he only played his first league games for the traditional Graz club in the 2010/11 season and also became Austrian champion. In summer 2012 he moved to Kapfenberger SV . In 2013 he moved to league competitor SC Austria Lustenau . In 2015 he went to the newly promoted SK Austria Klagenfurt .
After relegating to the regional league with Austria, he moved to the major league at his youth club FC Schladming in summer 2016.
International
Pürcher also came to some missions for the Austrian U-17 national team (10 missions), for the U-19 national team (15 missions), as well as four missions for the Austrian U-20 national team. He also played two games for the Austrian U-21 national team . He was also a participant in the U-19 European Championship in Upper Austria in 2007 .
