Doug Everett
Douglas Newton "Doug" Everett (born April 3, 1905 in Cambridge , Massachusetts , † September 14, 1996 in Concord , New Hampshire ) was an American ice hockey player .
Career
Doug Everett began his career as a hockey player at Dartmouth College , where he graduated in 1926. In amateur ice hockey, he played for the Boston University Club and the Concord Hockey Club. Following his ice hockey career, he worked as a banker. In 1974 he was inducted into the United States Hockey Hall of Fame . In his honor, the local ice rink in Concord was named Douglas N. Everett Ice Skating Arena .
International
For the USA Everett took part in the 1932 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid , where he won the silver medal with his team. He himself scored four goals in five games.
