Dušan Vukotić
Dušan Vukotić (born February 7, 1927 in Bileća , Yugoslavia , † July 8, 1998 in Krapinske Toplice , Croatia ) was a director and producer of animated films.
Life
He was one of the founding members of Zagreb Film and worked there for over four decades. He was also a member of the Montenegrin Academy of Science and Art . He taught film directing at the Zagreb Academy for Dramatic Arts.
He has won many awards for his films, including an Oscar for best animated short film in 1962 for The Substitute . In 1964 he was nominated for an Oscar with his film Das Spiel .
Vukotić died in Krapinske Toplice at the age of 71.
