Dupa , pseudonym for Luc Dupanloup , (born February 12, 1945 in Montignies-sur-Sambre , Belgium ; † November 8, 2000 in Ottignies , Belgium) was a Belgian comic artist and author. He is best known as the creator of the stories about the white, fluffy dog Cubitus .

Dupanloup studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels in the 1960s before becoming assistant to the comic artist Michel Régnier alias Greg, whom he supported, among other things, in the work on Albert Enzian . In 1966 he went to Tintin magazine , where he created the figure of Cubitus two years later . On November 8, 2000, Dupa died of a stroke at the age of 55 .
