Edin (* 19th August 1985 in Frankfurt am Main as Edin Osmanovski ) is a German singer-songwriter . The singer became known through the song Magisch (with Olexesh ), which reached number 1 in the German single charts and was awarded a platinum record.

Life

Edin was born in 1985 in Frankfurt am Main, the son of Yugoslav parents. He made his musical beginnings as a street musician in the Frankfurt pedestrian zone. He produced his first own songs at the age of 16. His musical role models include Michael Jackson , Usher, and James Brown . The gold-winning hit Magisch (with Olexesh ) from spring 2018 was streamed more than 73 million times on Spotify, has over 78 million clicks on YouTube and has sold over 200,000 times to date. Edin's second single Fiesta was released on June 15, 2018 , followed by Karacho at the end of 2018. In the same year it was announced that the singer had signed a contract with the Berlin label Four Music . In 2019 he released the single Tempo . Edin accompanies the Austrian rapper Joshi Mizu in November 2019 on seven concert dates as a support act.
