Edla (Slavic)
Edla (* around 980 ?; † around 1010 ?) Was a wife of King Olaf Skötkonung of Sweden .
There is hardly any information about her person. She came from "Wendland", the Slavic area on the Baltic Sea, and she was the mother of Emund , Astrid and Holmfrid. Your status is not entirely clear. She was the wife of King Olaf, but probably not married to him. She may have died relatively early.

Remarks
- ↑ Olaf was married to Estrid . Maybe Edla was the first woman and soon died. In the brief information received, however, she was not referred to as queen. Maybe she was a concubine. Her son Emund became king after his half-brother Amund.
- ↑ In the Olaf saga it was reported that her children were treated badly by the stepmother. She could already have died by this point.
