Eduard Lindner

Eduard Lindner (born March 15, 1875 in Gams bei Hieflau , † June 16, 1947 ) was an Austrian politician ( SDAP ) and railroad worker. Lindner was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament from 1921 to 1932 .

Life

Lindner completed an apprenticeship as a locksmith and was subsequently employed as a railroad worker, where he was based in Krems an der Donau .

politics

Lindner was already involved in the Catholic journeyman's association as a young journeyman locksmith and later became regional chairman of the Federation of Freethinkers . He was also active as a trade union official and was elected chairman of the Social Democratic Workers' Party in Krems. He was a member of the Krems municipal council from 1929 and already represented the SDAP in the Lower Austrian Landtag between May 20, 1919 and May 11, 1921, where he belonged to the Lower Austria Land Curia from November 10, 1920 when Vienna was split off. As a result, Lindner was a member of the regular Lower Austrian state parliament between May 11, 1921 and May 21, 1932. Lindner retired in 1934.
