Edvins Bārda

Edvīns Bārda (born April 6, 1900 in Riga , † September 28, 1947 in Liverpool ) was a Latvian national football player.

Bārda started his career at JKS Riga . In 1923 he moved to Riga FK . He made his international debut on September 24, 1922 in a friendly against the selection of Estonia. By 1925 he completed eight international matches, where he got five goals. With Riga FK he won the Latvian championship in 1924 and 1925. In 1926 he coached the Hakoah Riga club and a football club in Jelgava . In 1927 he moved to Riga Amatieris . During the Second World War he fled to England, where he died in 1947.
