Egon Eigenhaler

Egon Eigenthaler (* 26. September 1938 in Plochingen ) is a German graphic designer and former politicians of the Republicans .

Professional background

After an apprenticeship as a display designer in Stuttgart , Eigenhaler had his own atelier for advertising graphics from 1960–1985. He worked for medium-sized companies in various industries and municipalities in the Esslingen district. He trained in various printing techniques at the professional advertising association, and he also attended a course as a wholesaler. 1985–1992 Eigenhaler was employed by a power tool manufacturer mainly for trade fair planning and design.

Political career

1992–1996 he was an advisor to the parliamentary group The Republicans. Eigenhaler was one of the founders of the state association of the republicans of Baden-Württemberg in 1984 and a member of the state executive until 1987. He was then district chairman of the Esslingen / Göppingen district association from 1987 to 1988 . Since 1989 he has been the leader of the Republican parliamentary group in the Esslingen district council, and since 1994 a member of the Stuttgart regional assembly. Eigenhaler was a member of the state parliament from April 12, 1996 to May 31, 2001 through a second mandate in constituency 9 ( Nürtingen ). In March 2011, Eigenhaler resigned from the Republican Party. He has since resigned from all political offices.

Private

Eigenhaler is married and has two sons, he lives in Nürtingen.
