A case for two is a German crime series with Antoine Monot, Jr. and Wanja Mues in the leading roles. It has been filmed by Novafilm in Frankfurt am Main and the surrounding area since 2013 on behalf of ZDF and is a new edition of the television series of the same name , which ran from 1981 to 2013 a. a. with Claus Theo Gärtner as Josef Matula.

How it all started

In the life of the lawyer Benni Hornberg everything runs smoothly and civilly. That morning, however, a phone call caused it to go awry. Leo Oswald, an old schoolmate and Benni's former best friend, is back in Frankfurt am Main. After 20 years and numerous criminal activities in South America, Leo is in serious trouble: He is accused of killing the respected entrepreneur Stefan Schwarz. And the evidence that the attractive public prosecutor Conni Leinfelder has on hand is overwhelming.

Benni, a specialist lawyer for insurance law - and not criminal law - is determined after initial hesitation to help his old friend. He ignores urgent warnings from his father-in-law, Dr. Oskar Renners, in whose renowned law firm he works. Renners is currently busy with the shrewd star lawyer Frederic Katzner and his other law firm partners to bring a big insurance deal to the stage.

But even Leo, a private detective who has a hand in hand, still has a few secrets ready. Benni initially feels betrayed by his closed friend and also has to learn painfully that his wife Gabi has embarked on a violent affair with her yoga teacher. His old feel-good life seems to be slipping away from him for good. So Benni gets to work all the more intensively to knock Leo out. Leo thinks he knows Stefan Schwarz's murderer. The entrepreneur met the escort lady Marie at an exclusive, private sex party. A few hours later, the pretty student was found dead. But what else had happened that evening?

In the episode roles are Gudrun Landgrebe as adhesion Judge Peters, Jürgen Tarrach as Frederic Katzner, Rainer Sellien Alexander Bast, Sebastian Weber as Paul Herzog, Kida Khodr Ramadan as Kamphausen, Marc Oliver Schulze seen as Stefan Schwarz.
