Unit price (citizen price)
The unity award , also known as the citizen award for German unity , was awarded annually between 2002 and 2012 by the Federal Agency for Civic Education . The award honors people and projects who are committed to shaping German unity after reunification .
The award was announced in three categories:
- "People - Actors of Unity"
- “Culture - Profile of Unity” and
- “Youth - Future of Unity”.
Since 2008, activities towards European unity have also been recognized with a special prize for services to the East-West unification of Europe .
The 2008 standard award was under the patronage of the Federal Minister of Transport, Wolfgang Tiefensee . Hannelore Kraft , Prime Minister of North Rhine-Westphalia, is the patron of the 2011 Unified Prize.
