An elevated monorail is a motor-driven amusement ride , which is usually found in amusement parks . The trains, which usually consist of several individual gondolas , run on a single rail standing on stilts, on which the appropriate busbars for the sliding contacts are mounted.

There was an elevated monorail called the Panoramabahn at the IGA 1993 in Stuttgart.
