The 29 Hockey Championship U18 juniors took place from 7. bis 14. April 1996 in Ufa in Russia instead. The games of group B were played from March 23 to 29, 1996 in Sosnowiec and Tychy in Poland . The C group played from 15. bis 19th March 1996 in Maribor in Slovenia . The Bulgarian capital Sofia hosted the D-Gruppe from March 6th to 10th, 1996 .
