Ekhard Koch

Ekhard Koch (born April 15, 1902 in Jever , † February 2, 2000 in Oldenburg ) was a German lawyer , administrative officer and politician .

Life

Koch studied law , received his doctorate in 1927 at the University of Göttingen and later worked as a lawyer and judge . After 1945 he served as President of the Oldenburg Higher Regional Court and as Vice President of the Central Justice Office. From August 6, 1951 to October 18, 1952, he was State Secretary in the Lower Saxony Ministry of Justice . From 1953 to 1955 he was President of the Oldenburg Administrative District and from 1960 to 1966 President of the Higher Regional Court of Celle . He was also President of the Oldenburg Regional Association of the German Red Cross from 1967 to 1973 and since 1983 its Honorary President.
