Elatha [ 'elaθa ], also Elada or Eladu , is a figure in the Celtic mythology of Ireland . He bears the patronymic (father's name) mac Dé Domnann [ mak dʼe 'dovnaN ] ("Son of the God Domnu ") and is also called día Domnand ("God of Domnu").

In Lebor Gabala Eirenn , Elatha is a son of Delbaeth and a king of the Fomori . In the prehistory to the second battle of Mag Tuireadh it is told how he slept with Eriu as the embodiment of the country of Ireland and with her fathered the boy Bress . Elatha is also considered the father of Ogma and Dagda .

When his son Bress is elected king of the Tuatha de Danaan despite his Fomori descent , there is soon resistance against him and Bress is driven out of office by Glám dícenn (magical curse, satire) by Coirpre . In the battle, Elatha is then wounded by Nuada and killed by Lugh .
