Elektronik Praxis - knowledge. Impulses. Contacts. is a trade journal with web portals and events for electronics with a focus on electronics management, hardware development , software development , component procurement and electronics production. The magazine was created in 1966 as a sister paper to the specialist journal Elektrotechnik .

The magazine appears fortnightly (plus 17 special issues and two trade fair magazines) in the Würzburger Vogel Communications Group GmbH & Co. KG with a widespread circulation of 37,891 copies (3rd quarter of 2019 ). The editorial office is based in Munich .

Five websites supplement the printed booklet with additional news, research results and specialist articles.

Electronics practice has changed dramatically over the past 20 years. Originally launched as a key figure magazine, the magazine today describes itself as a cross-media specialist medium with the distribution channels print, online, social media and events.

The electronics practice organizes around 20 electronics congresses and developer conferences as well as numerous special seminars every year. These include the ESE Congress for Embedded Software Engineering , the FPGA Conference Europe, the Connector User Congress and the Electrical Drive Technology Practical Forum as well as the Embedded Linux Week.

Since 2012, Elektronikpraxis has been collecting the salary report for electronics & electrical engineering every year, which is published in the career magazine 360 ​​°.
