Elias Tollinger (born March 25, 1995 in Innsbruck ) is a former Austrian ski jumper who started for SV Innsbruck-Bergisel .

Career

Tollinger's international debut took place in the FIS Cup , at the ski jumping competitions in Einsiedeln on August 19, 2011, in which he took 1st place. A day later he came in second in the second competition and thus got off to a successful start for his international career. In January 2012, he arrived at the Winter Games Youth Olympic in Innsbruck in both the individual as well as with the Austrian team to 7th place. When he made his debut in the Continental Cup in Predazzo in March 2012 , he only finished 49th. His best placements so far in the Continental Cup were two 4th places in Seefeld (February 2014) and Frenštát pod Radhoštěm (August 2014).

At the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in 2014 in Val di Fiemme , he won the silver medal with the Austrian team.

In October 2016 Tollinger won the gold medal at the Austrian Championships 2016 in Eisenerz together with Andreas Kofler , Clemens Aigner and Manuel Fettner in the team competition.

On December 18, 2016, Tollinger won his first competition in the Continental Cup on the large hill at Ruka in front of Stefan Huber and Philipp Aschenwald .

In August 2019, Tollinger announced the end of his career.

Private

In 2019 Tollinger lived in Zirl . He completed his training as a qualified mental trainer. In 2020 Tollinger will complete his degree in economics.
