Ella Suitiala (born October 1, 1989 in Espoo ) is a Finnish snowboarder .

Career

Suitiala has been participating in the Ticket to Ride World Snowboard Tour and FIS competitions since 2011 . She drove her first FIS World Cup race in December 2011 in Ruka , which she finished in third place on the halfpipe . At the Snowboard World Championships 2012 in Oslo , she finished 17th on the halfpipe. In her first Olympic participation in Sochi in 2014 , she achieved 19th place on the halfpipe. At the 2015 Snowboard World Championships on Kreischberg , she came in 20th place on the halfpipe, ninth in big air and eighth in slopestyle . At the last World Cup race of the 2014/15 season in Špindlerův Mlýn , she reached third place in slopestyle and finished the season in fourth place in the freestyle world cup and third place in the slopestyle ranking. In April 2015 she became Finnish champion in slopestyle, halfpipe and snowboard cross. At the Snowboard World Championships 2016 in Yabuli , she came in 11th place in slopestyle. In April 2017 she became Finnish champion in Slopestyle in Levi .
