Elliðaey is an island south of Iceland . With 0.45 km² it is the third largest of the Westman Islands .

It is located in the north of the archipelago and rises up to 114 m above sea level. The island is 4 miles from mainland Iceland and can only be reached by boat or helicopter.

Trivia

The island is uninhabited, but there is a large hunting lodge on it , which was built in 1953.
