Emil Much

Emil Much (born August 12, 1904 in Etzin, Osthavelland district , † March 13, 1982 in Berlin ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Emil Much attended elementary school and trained as a locksmith . In 1920 he joined the Socialist Workers' Youth (SAJ) and in 1925 the SPD. After the master craftsman's examination , he attended technical schools and eventually became a technical employee and workshop manager.

After the Second World War , Much worked as an administrative clerk in the Schöneberg district office . In the Berlin election in 1948 he was elected to the district assembly in Schöneberg. But already three months before the subsequent election in 1954 , Franz Hirschfeld left the Berlin House of Representatives , so that Much could move up. But in December 1954 he was again only a successor in parliament, only in December 1957 he was able to move up for Edith Krappe , a member of the Bundestag .
