Emily Doharty

Emily Abimbola Doharty (born January 25, 1985 in Hamburg ) is a former German basketball player .

career

Doharty played in 2001 for the German national cadet team. At club level she belonged to SC Alstertal-Langenhorn , in the run-up to the 2003/04 season she moved to SC Rist Wedel in the first division. She was relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga with Wedel, and in early December 2004 she sustained a serious knee injury. In July 2005 she took part in the U20 European Championship and scored 4.1 points per game over the course of the tournament. In the 2006/07 season, the winger was a member of the first division squad of BG Zehlendorf . After a year in Berlin, she played again for SC Rist Wedel in the second division.
