Enno Thümler

Enno Thümler (born May 10, 1937 in Brake ) is a German politician ( CDU ). From 1986 to 1998 he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Thümler attended elementary school in Schmalenfleth and then secondary schools in Rodenkirchen and Berne. He then completed an apprenticeship in wholesale and foreign trade and then trained as an association auditor. In 1963 he joined the CDU and in 1984 became chairman of the CDU district association Oldenburg-Land. Since 1985 he has been a member of the board of the CDU regional association in Oldenburg. From 1974 to 1981 and again from 1986 Thümler was a member of the district council of the Oldenburg district, where he was CDU parliamentary group leader from 1991. In 1986 he was elected to the eleventh electoral term of the Lower Saxony state parliament, to which he was a member until 1998, the end of the thirteenth term.
