Enver Bukic
Enver Bukić (born December 2, 1937 in Banja Luka , Vrbaska banovina , † February 23, 2017 in Ljubljana ) was a Yugoslav , later Slovenian, chess player.
Enver Bukić was awarded the title of International Master by FIDE in 1964 , then the title of Grand Master in 1976 . His highest rating was 2500 in 1978.
For Yugoslavia he played at three European team championships : 1970 in Kapfenberg , 1973 in Bath and 1977 in Moscow . In 1973, Yugoslavia finished second, in 1977 third, with Enver Bukić receiving an individual gold medal in Moscow for his result on the seventh board, ahead of Oleh Romanyschyn and László Vadász .
