Erfurt-Nord is a name for the northern districts of the city of Erfurt . The meaning and the area described by this term changes over time and in context. Erfurt-Nord can therefore have the following meanings.

Ilversgehofen

The community of Ilversgehofen developed in the second half of the 19th century from an agricultural community to a considerable industrial center. Resident industrialists initiated a incorporation into Erfurt, which took place in 1911. Then the new Erfurt district was called Erfurt-Nord . The Erfurt Nord train station is located here.
