Erna Donat

Erna Donat (born April 5, 1914 in Berlin ; † July 7, 1995 in Hanover ) was a German journalist and writer .

Life

Erna Donat worked, among other things, as a columnist for the Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung . In addition, she wrote novels, short stories and authored portraits of actors. With the help of a grant from the Foreign Office , she was able to finance a stay in Florence .

In 1982 Donat was honored with the Nicolas Born Prize , a literary prize from the state of Lower Saxony .
