Eugen Bilfinger

Eugen Karl Heinrich Bilfinger (born February 12, 1846 in Welzheim ; † January 21, 1923 in Radebeul ) was a German naturopath , doctor and author. From 1912 he was the chief doctor of the Bilz sanatorium .

Bilfinger completed his training as a doctor with a doctorate as Dr. med. from. He was later appointed to the medical council.

In the 1870s / 1880s, Bilfinger became an opponent of the compulsory vaccination and advocate of the sweat cure and at the same time a combative representative of naturopathy , which he vehemently advocated in speeches and books.

After leading positions in several sanatoriums, Bilfinger switched to Friedrich Eduard Bilz as a senior doctor in his Oberlößnitz Bilz Sanatorium in 1912 , where he worked and lived until his death.

Bilfinger was internationally respected, he wrote numerous publications on healthy living.
