Eugene Jakab

Eugen Jakab (* 1943 in Pinkafeld ) is a pianist and has been professor for piano at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz since 1974 (formerly the University of Music and Performing Arts) and since 1991 head of the Institute for Piano (formerly the keyboard instruments department). He is a regular lecturer in international master classes .

He completed his piano studies and music education studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna (today University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna ) with distinction. In the course of his career he has performed in concerts with a focus on chamber music in many parts of Europe, in Asia and in the Near and Middle East. His art is also recorded in numerous radio and recordings.
