The EURONICS Germany eG is in Ditzingen based purchasing cooperative for electrical appliances with nationwide more than 1,600 members. Euronics Deutschland eG sells consumer electronics as well as a large number of different products such as computers, mobile phones, digital and video cameras and household appliances such as dishwashers, dryers and freezers.
history
The cooperative emerged from a joint venture that was formed in 2001 from the two specialist trade cooperations Interfunk eG (Ditzingen, founded in 1969) and Ruefach GmbH & Co. KG (Ulm, founded in 1974). In a three-year transition phase, the operational business of the two companies was carried out by the joint subsidiary RIC Electronic Communication Services GmbH. In 2004, the members voted to merge the three companies Interfunk, Ruefach and RIC to form the new Euronics Deutschland eG cooperative .

Euronics Deutschland eG is a cooperative purchasing group that is represented at over 1,800 locations nationwide. The main product ranges of the medium-sized specialist shops and markets are the areas of entertainment electronics, PC / multimedia, mobile and telecommunications as well as photo and building technology. With total sales of 3.75 billion euros in the 2012/2013 financial year, Euronics is the second largest market player in the industry in Germany.
The members present themselves under the brand names "EURONICS" and "EURONICS XXL". The "media @ home" dealers also belong to Euronics. The focus of these specialty stores is on high-quality entertainment electronics from the areas of TV, audio and video as well as integrated networking solutions.
Euronics Deutschland eG is a member of the European purchasing and marketing association Euronics International Ltd. , Amsterdam ( Netherlands ).
