Fadil Husain Ahmad al-Kurdi
Fadil Husain Ahmad al-Kurdi ( Arabic فاضل حسين أحمد الكردي, DMG Fāḍil Ḥusain Aḥmad al-Kurdī ), also known as Abu Ubayda al-Kurdi (أبو عبيدة الكردي, DMG Abū ʿUbaida al-Kurdī ), called Ridha (رضا Rida , DMG Riḍā ), is a Sunni and Islamist Kurd from Iraq . Ridha is said to have been responsible for the exchange of messages between Abu Musab az-Zarqawi and Osama bin Laden to and from Iraq. On December 30, 2004, the US Army reportedthat it had arrested the 26-year-old Kurd, an important Zarqawi helper. With this new arrest in the vicinity of Zarqawi, the US Army saw that they hadseverely weakenedthe terror structures of at-Tawheed wa al-Jihad .
