Fashawn
Fashawn (born October 27, 1988 in Fresno , California ; real name Santiago Leyva ), also known as The Phenom , is an American rapper. His debut album, released in 2009, is called Boy Meets World .
Life
Fashawn grew up almost without parents as his father was in prison and his mother was a drug addict. He discovered his passion for music at the age of twelve in a childcare facility and began to write lyrics in order to escape his bleak childhood as a distraction.
Fashawn was later taken in by his uncle in California, with whom he spent his youth. There his dream of a career as a musician came true.
