The Fatih Mosque ( German  "Conqueror Mosque" ) in Bremen-Gröpelingen is the first mosque in the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen and the third largest in Germany . The mosque association founded in 1973 is also the oldest and largest Muslim community in Bremen . It was founded in 1974 as the “Association for the Preservation of the Islamic Prayer Room in Bremen V. “registered.

The Fatih Mosque has a 27 m high minaret and a 12 m diameter dome . It offers space for about 1300 believers. The foundation stone was laid on June 8, 1995, the inauguration on December 3, 1999. The prayer room was painted by two Chinese and four Turkish artists.

The mosque association belongs to the "Islamic Federation Bremen" and is part of the Islamic Community Millî Görüş (IGMG). It has around 500 members. Mehmet Kilinc, spokesman for the Schura Bremen , was the head of the Bremen branch of the Central Institute Islam Archive Germany .
