Fatmi Benslimane ( Arabic الفاطمي بن سليمان, DMG al-Fāṭimī b. Sulaimān ; * 1898 in Fez ; † 1980 ) was a Moroccan pasha of Fez, education minister in the Makhzen government , prime minister and diplomat .

Life

In 1946 he was accepted as a commander in the Legion of Honor . Until August 20, 1953 he was Pasha in Fès. He belonged to the manageable entourage that accompanied Mohammed V (Morocco) in his exile from August 20, 1953 to November 16, 1955, first in Corsica , then in Madagascar . From 20 to 30 August 1955, as chairman of the throne council, he was a member of the 37-strong Moroccan delegation to the conference on the independence of Morocco in Aix-les-Bains .

From September 18, 1958 to 1960, he was ambassador to Baghdad (Iraq), Amman (Jordan) and Beirut (Lebanon). From 1961 to 1968 he was ambassador to Jeddah and Kuwait City.
