The Federación Española de Rugby is the national umbrella organization for rugby in Spain .
The Spanish Rugby Federation was founded in 1923. In 1934 he was one of the founding members of the European Continental Association (FIRA-AER). The Spanish umbrella organization has been a member of the International Rugby Board (IRB) since 1988 . The Federación Española de Rugby is based in Madrid .
The association organizes, among other things, the national championship and the cup, as well as all activities of the national team for men and women , both in rugby union and in rugby 7 .
