This perennial herbaceous plant has ascending, flowering and non-flowering shoots for a lying reason and is about 5 to 12, maximum 20 centimeters high. Non-flowering shoots are scaly at the top, flowering shoots in the center are noticeably densely leafed. The stem leaves are bluish green, glabrous, with entire margins, elongated to linear, mostly notched at the tip and protruding fairly horizontally. Below the inflorescence, the leaves are significantly smaller and wider. The terminal inflorescence is a three- to five-pointed umbel. Bracts and bracts are heart-shaped, nectar glands for short two-horned, fruits are smooth.
Flowering time is from May to June.
