The telecommunications tower Kaiserslautern is a transmitter for FM and DVB-T in the district Dansenberg in Kaiserslautern . The 133 meter high telecommunications tower , built from 1985 to 1987, is owned by the Deutsche Funkturm . From here the signals for television, radio and telephone of the city of Kaiserslautern are sent. In addition, the radio of the fire brigade and rescue service in Kaiserslautern and the surrounding area is handled via the tower.

DVB-T2 HD
