Filip Albrecht
Filip Albrecht (born November 28, 1977 in Munich , bourgeois Hanns Philipp Albrecht ) is a German - Czech lyricist , music producer and media manager , who also works as director of German and Czech film festivals as well as a film dealer and film producer .
Life
Albrecht grew up in Bavaria , but decided to relocate to Prague in 1999 and to found a company there that deals with the global trade in film rights for Czech TV and cinema films , with a focus on fairy tale films and dramas. He is also the librettist for the German version of the musical film Drei Brüder by Jan Svěrák . as well as the German librettist and lyricist of the musical Cinderella on Ice . He has also been working as a lyricist and producer for Karel Gott and Helena Vondráčková since 2001, for whom he wrote around thirty titles between 2001 and 2017. He is also the manager of Helena Vondráčková and the actor and entertainer Pavel Trávníček .
As director of international relations at the Zlín and Mladá Boleslav film festivals , he brought numerous German and international artists such as Götz George , Jürgen Prochnow , Maximilian Schell , Helmut Berger , Frank Beyer , Armin Mueller-Stahl , Hanna Schygulla , Sir Peter Ustinov , Ottfried Fischer , Gojko Mitić or Pierre Brice to the Czech Republic .
As a writer and ghostwriter , he wrote Karel Gott's autobiography Between Two Worlds .
Since 2013 he has been managing director of the Czech-Slovak television channels Šlágr TV and Country Nr.1 . For his television work he was awarded in November 2014 as part of the Smago! Award in Berlin with the ADS Media Prize in the "Foreign Television" category.
He is co-producer of the film The Devil's Beloved ( Lída Baarová ) by Filip Renč about the life of the Czech actress Lída Baarová with Karl Markovics , Tatiana Pauhofová and Gedeon Burkhard in the leading roles, the world premiere of which will be held on January 20, 2016 in the presence of the Czech President Miloš Zeman and Deputy Prime Minister Andrej Babiš took place in Prague.
In autumn 2016 he was appointed festival director of the Fabulix International Fairy Tale Film Festival in Annaberg-Buchholz , the first year of which took place from 23 to 27 August 2017 and was attended by over 20,000 guests.
Filip Albrecht lives in Prague and Nice . He is a member of the Rotary Club Prague International (RCPI).
