history
On December 20, 1935, the city of Lüdenscheid and the Reich Ministry of Aviation signed a contract with details of “the land purchase, road construction, water, gas and electricity supplies and, last but not least, the drainage of the entire barracks area in the separation system. According to the contract, the city waived resident contributions, connection fees, fees and costs for measurements as well as building inspectorate fees. " When the contracts became public in August 1994, the local newspaper Lüdenscheider Nachrichten wrote an article entitled" The Nazis collected Buckesfeld in 1935 "() Construction began in 1935 and the topping-out ceremony was held on October 7, 1936. Six months later they moved into the barracks.
