Fletsch - Saturday Bite Fever is a German musical. The music is by Marc Schubring , the lyrics by Wolfgang Adenberg and the book by Holger Hauer . It is based on the novel Werewolves Kiss Well by Roger L. DiSilvestro. The world premiere took place on December 8, 1993 in the Arnual Theater in Saarbrücken. It played Holger Hauer (Stanley), Ellen Karcher (Daisy / Esther) and Elmar Müller (father / psychiatrist).

Shy insurance clerk Stanley is as passionate as he is hopelessly in love with his secretary Daisy. Until he was bitten by the werewolf Esther, more or less by chance, and now turns himself into a werewolf: hair suddenly sprouts on his chest, he becomes more muscular and self-confident, and all of a sudden Daisy's interest in him also awakens. However, Stanley's father, a retired big game hunter, has returned to his old hunting instinct and does not want to rest until his son's head is hanging on his trophy wall. And Esther, too, suddenly makes deadly demands on the new werewolf ...

Fletsch has been re-enacted in more than 20 theaters since its premiere and is considered one of the most frequently performed German musicals.
