Franck Deville or Frank Deville (born August 12, 1970 ) is a former Luxembourg soccer player .

Career

Franck Deville began his career in 1987 with Swift Hesperange . With this team he won the Luxembourg Cup in 1990 . After five years he had a total of 128 missions and moved to Union Luxemburg . After another three years he went to Avenir Beggen for half a year .

During his time at Union Luxemburg he met Eckhard Krautzun after a game against Avenir Beggen . At the beginning of 1996 he followed Krautzun and moved to Union Berlin in the regional league . There he was elected to the team council and played in friendly matches in the regular formation of the Berliners. Shortly before his first game in point operation, Deville tore an inner ligament. For Union, Deville, who played with Sergej Barbarez , Marko Rehmer and Ervin Skela , among others , only appeared in six games. After half a year he went to 1. FC Saarbrücken . For this he was used in 16 games. In the 1997/98 season he played for SV Mettlach .

Deville then returned to Luxembourg and signed another contract with Avenir Beggen. After a year he went to FC Mondercange . In the 2002/03 season he played for the F91 Dudelange and ended his career.

National team

Deville played 35 times for the Luxembourg national team . He was denied participation in a soccer world championship or a soccer championship . However, he was part of the team that on June 7, 1995 in qualifying for the 1996 European Football Championship defeated the Czech national football team , the later finalist at the 1996 European Championship, 1-0.

Franck Deville met his German wife while on vacation in Germany, but he is divorced. Their son Maurice John (* 1992) plays for 1. FC Kaiserslautern in the 2. Bundesliga .
