Franco Angeli (director)

Franco Angeli (* 1949 in Rome ) is an Italian film director .

Life

Angeli, the nephew of the painter of the same name , had his first contact with the film business as an actor in two films from the 1960s. From 1982 he worked as an assistant director on numerous films (including several times for Ettore Scola and Bernardo Bertolucci ) before first directing the second staff at Il mastino in 1997 and finally directing his first film La rentrée in 2001 . This was followed by two documentaries.
