Career

They are stories from a Parisian suburban gang in which he depicts the youth of the 1980s. The series was published in German translation under the title Wahnsinns-Strips by Semic and Die Vorstadtgang by Carlsen Comics .

Margerin's most popular character is Lucien, a rock music enthusiast from a suburb of Paris who stumbles from one mishap into another, but always remains good-natured. Lucien appears mostly in short stories; Even with these, Margerin uses every opportunity to accommodate a gag.
