The Franz-Miltenberger-Gymnasium is a high school founded in 1924 in the Bavarian state baths Bad Brückenau . The Bad Kissingen district is responsible for the educational institution . The grammar school was built on the initiative of the Roman Catholic priest Franz Miltenberger and was later named after him.

Educational offer and focus

As a comparatively small educational institution, the Franz-Miltenberger-Gymnasium would like to offer its pupils the widest possible range of educational opportunities. The focus is on the scientific-technical as well as the linguistic area. In addition to the compulsory lessons and the classic elective lessons (choir, orchestra, theater groups), there are special subject-specific additional offers such as psychology, English conversation, Spanish, film group, school radio or table tennis. In addition, the high school has set itself the goal of promoting personality development in the most differentiated way possible.

history

The school was founded in 1924 and expanded in 1950. In 2014 celebrations for the 90th anniversary of the school and the school association were celebrated.
