Franz Ferdinand Wolf

Franz Ferdinand Wolf (born April 15, 1947 in Vienna ) is an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and journalist. Since 2005 he has been a member of the Vienna State Parliament and a member of the Vienna City Council .

Franz Ferdinand Wolf completed his school education and Matura in Vienna and then studied law , political science and sociology at the University of Vienna . During his studies, was Wolf freelancer for the weekly newspaper Die Furche , 1971, he graduated as Dr. iur. He then completed his court year and in 1973 worked as the domestic affairs editor of the weekly press . Between 1976 and 1980 he was editor-in-chief there and in 1980 moved to ORF as head of public relations and press spokesman . He then became a member of the editor-in-chief of profil , which he also served as editor in 1987 and 1988. After working for profil, Wolf was editor-in-chief of the daily newspaper Kurier between 1988 and 1993 , before he was involved in setting up private radio stations and TV window programs such as Telekurier , Radio Rpn and Sat.1 Austria from 1993 to 2000 .

Wolf then worked as a consultant for private broadcasters and worked as a journalist for domestic and foreign specialist publications on media policy issues. In addition, he was the moderator and presenter of ORF radio and television programs such as Club 2 , In Conversation , Zur Person und Offen Said . He also worked as a non-fiction author and taught at the Danube University Krems , the Board of Trustees for Journalist Training and the University of Applied Sciences for Journalism Vienna.

Franz Ferdinand Wolf has represented the ÖVP in the Vienna state parliament and municipal council since November 18, 2005. In the 18th legislative period, he is a member of the Committee for Culture and Science and cultural spokesman for the Vienna People's Party.

Wolf is married and has two sons.
