Franz Terdenge

Franz Terdenge (born August 6, 1948 in Gronau (Westphalia) ) is a German lawyer and former judge at the Federal Social Court .

Life

Franz Terdenge studied at the Universities of Münster and Tübingen Law , graduating in 1973 with the First Legal State Examination in Tübingen from. In 1976 he passed the second state examination in law in Stuttgart . From August 1976 he was employed as a research assistant at the Institute for Criminology at the University of Tübingen. In 1980 he began an administrative career by joining the pension administration of the Free State of Bavaria . In April 1981 he was seconded to the Munich State Supply Office . During this time he did his doctorate at the University of Tübingen in 1982 on the subject of penal sanctions in legislation and court practice . At the beginning of 1984 he became a judge at the Munich Social Court . He was seconded to the Federal Social Court from 1986 to 1988 and a judge at the Bavarian State Social Court in May 1991 .

As early as June 1991, following reunification, he was head of the department for war victims and disability law in the new federal states in the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs in the branch in (East) Berlin. In June 1993 he became a judge at the State Social Court of Brandenburg . From June 1994 to March 1996 he headed the legal department of the Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, Health and Women of the State of Brandenburg as part of a delegation .

In May 1996, Franz Terdenge became a judge at the Federal Social Court. At first he belongs to the 4th Senate and from 1997 to the 13th Senate of the Federal Social Court, which deals with questions relating to statutory pension insurance . After August 2008, Terdenge took early retirement.

In addition to his professional activity, Terdenge also deals scientifically with social law. He works on a textbook on social justice and publishes a volume of Hauck / Noftz's commentary on the sixth book of the Social Security Code .
