The Friedestrompreis is a literary prize that is endowed with prize money of 3600 euros. The prize is awarded every two years by the international dialect archive "Ludwig Soumagne" of the Rhine district of Neuss to people who have made a special national contribution to German-language dialect poetry.

The award is presented every two years in the north hall of the “Friedestrom” cultural center in the Dormagen district of Stadt Zons in the Rhine district of Neuss . The prize is named after the castle of the same name , which Friedrich III. von Saar Werden built in the fortress of Zons .
